Wednesday, November 7, 2012, Kids Against Hunger Central Texas and Hope for the Hungry shipped 178,200 meals to Haiti.  Members from both organizations loaded the 850 boxes, which should arrive in December.  These meals will provide food to the schools and orphanages operated by Hope for the  Hungry for about one year.  This brings the total number of meals packaged and shipped to Haiti to over 490,000 in the past three years.  

Our sincere thanks to the many dedicated donors and packaging volunters from all areas of Central Texas that have provided their money and time to help the thousands of malnurished children in Haiti.  Without them, none of this would have been possible.
