The meal packaging and food distribution results for 2011 are in and Kids Against Hunger had another good year thanks to all of you!   

This past year, the Kids Against Hunger satellite network produced a total of 40 million meals which were shipped to 46 different countries. As in previous years, the largest number of Kids Against Hunger's meals were shipped to Haiti (14.7 million).  

There are also a couple other significant statistics worth mentioning. The number of meals which stayed in the United States doubled over the previous year to 6.8 million meals, and the Kids Against Hunger satellite network responded to the crisis in the Horn of Africa by sending over 3.9 million meals to Kenya for the refugee camps on the Somali border.
