The mission of Kids Against Hunger, a humanitarian food-aid organization, is to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and to feed starving children throughout the world. Kids Against Hunger MealPack events are excellent for schools, churches, social clubs and corporations. We work with volunteers from ages 6 to 106 and can help find a role for everyone in your group to help be a part of the solution to meet global hunger needs. Kids Against Hunger of Central Texas works throughout the State of Texas and is in association with Hope for the Hungry.
Kids Against Hunger now has the ability to get food and aide to some of the hardest to reach parts of the world. With camps set up in Syria, we need food to help those Christian women and children who do not have the ability to flee the fighting. These women and children are stuck between dying in the fighting or dying in the wilderness. Our plea right now is “Please get us the food, we will get it to the people!” We are looking for churches and individuals to partner with us to get food to these brothers and sisters in Christ.
Kids Against Hunger of Central Texas is joining in this effort and for the month of April we are concentrating much of our efforts towards helping get food to the people of Syria. We thank you for your support. To host a packaging event please contact us.
Wednesday, Dec 5, 2013, volunteers from Kids Against Hunger of Central Texas and Hope for the Hungry load meals destined for Port au Prince, Haiti. These meals are part of a shipment of 133,272 KAH meals for hundreds of malnourished children in schools and orphanges in Haiti. The vitamins, minerals, and protein in each of these meals will be the primary factor in restoring these children to good health over the next several months. Our sincere thanks to all the churchs and civic groups who donated their time and money to package these meals. Without their help this shipment would not have been possible.
